About the founder

I'm James Staples Stewart. I've been an industrial refrigeration mechanic since 2013, mostly on ammonia plants, including 8 years at Gordon Brothers. SCADA was the main tool I worked through every day, for running plant, chasing faults and answering call-outs.

I built SCADAmate because I kept seeing the same problem. Sites are running SCADA from 20 years ago, and the few people who can modernise it are retiring. SCADAmate runs alongside your existing system and gives you a modern view on screen and phone, while your PLC keeps control and safety.
